Generally speaking, the more effort you put into the event beforehand, the smoother it will run and the better the experience for all involved. From this poker blogger’s experience, it pays to make event pre-registration a must. It is through the generosity of local businesses and donors like you that SKF is able to provide assistance and hope to Kansas City area families. Each year we host 3 major events: a golf tournament, a poker tournament, and a ‘Hearts of Gold’ gala.

The Michael Daly Memorial Scholarship Foundation was established in 2011 as a scholarship fund, in Michael’s memory, to provide scholarships to college students and prospective college students, affiliated with the Kansas City roofing, sheet metal and construction industries, who display a desire to earn a degree.
The Michael Daly Memorial Scholarship Foundation invites you all to come out in September each year. Show your support for our great cause, and have tons of fun, at what is sure to be one of the most memorable golf tournaments you’ve ever attended. Even if you don’t golf, a gallery ticket will get you admission as a spectator to the tournament, dinner at the awards ceremony, and a great seat for spectacular entertainment including a live band, an amazing raffle, and a fireworks finale!! For just $30 you can watch some great golf on a beautiful course, enjoy delicious BBQ, dance to a live band, and then cap off an amazing day with a spectacular fireworks tribute to Michael.
